Who operates the registry?
.phone is operated by DISH Registry, the same operator behind a family of established top-level domains such as .mobile, .latino, and .dot. Backend operations run on Tucows' accredited backend.
When can my customers register a .phone domain?
Sunrise for trademark holders opens in October 2026, followed by Trademark Claims and an Early Access Period. General Availability begins in January 2027. See the launch timeline below for the full schedule.
Where do I register a .phone domain?
While you can check the availability of your domain on this website, purchase will need to be completed with one of our registrar partners. Most major registrars carry our domains.
How do registrars offer .phone?
